TMC
TMC is Telecommunication Metrology Center of MII(Ministry of Information Industry) in China. It is a leading high-tech laboratory on the combined missions of telecommunication technology development, telecommunication product standard and test methods research, telecommunication metrology standard and methods research, products inspection, verification and technical assessment as well as testing instrument metrology.
TMC is Authorized Test Lab by MII, CQC, AQSIQ, WI-Fi,WiMAX, GFC, CTIA, and has Approval & Certification of NAL, CCC, CE, FCC, Wi-Fi,WiMAX, CTIA, GCF, PTCRB. TMC contributes a large number of standards in the fields of EMC, Safety, SAR, WLAN, WiMAX, 2G/3G, Metrology and calibration, etc.
TMC will bring the following main competencies to the project:
- To collect China's UWB testing needs and to ensure the tests defined by the project is very important; TMC has the ability to do it.
- TMC has the ability to develop the interoperability test bed and test method;
- Wireless performance is very important. TMC is the first CTIA authorized OTA(Over The Air) chamber performance calibration lab in China. We have the ability to develop UWB equipments over the air performance test method and test bed.
TMC will be active in WP2 as a crucial player of the networking and dissemination activities. Thanks to their good relationships with a lot of
vendors and with other Chinese Research Institutes they can enlarge the scope of the project to Asian markets.
