AT4 wireless is a private technological centre which aims to provide its clients with solutions and technologies to make their products and services secure and more efficient in the following areas:

• Test Systems: providing conformance and interoperability test systems solutions in the field of mobile and wireless technologies.
• Laboratories: providing global testing services according to international standards (EMC, safety, mobile, wireless, etc.). AT4 wireless is currently accredited as testing laboratory for GSM, UMTS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and WiMAX.
• Engineering and Solutions: developing added value products, tools and platforms and building special customer solutions in different fields (such as industrial production, logistic, digital home or eHealth), where wireless technologies are essential.

AT4 wireless has expertise in wireless technologies, such as GSM, UMTS, WiMAX, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, UWB, RFID and NFC, and is also member of the main Industry fora such as NFC Forum, Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, WiMAX Forum and WiMedia Alliance. Furthermore, as member of standardization organizations such as ETSI and 3GPP, AT4 wireless's know-how is up-to-date with regard to next generation architectures and new network paradigms.

AT4 wireless is a worldwider wireless communications test laboratory, that was appointed the first laboratory for WiMAX broadband wireless communication technology in December 2005.

The R&D activities mainly focus on the following areas: innovative test methodologies, test specifications, measurements techniques, formal specification languages,test automatization and test tools development.

AT4 wireless will bring to the project sound expertise in regulatory, conformance and interoperability testing for wireless technologies. AT4 wireless has also strong know-how and expertise in the setup of test beds, development of test specifications (according to ISO 9646 methodology), test automatization and in the development of test systems.

AT4 wireless has also a large experience in participating and organizing Plugfest for many technologies.

Furthermore, as member of standardization organizations such as 3GPP, AT4 wireless's know-how is up-to-date with regard to present and future wireless technologies.
