Copsey Telecommunication Ltd is a micro enterprise created to support research activities on new radio telecommunications techniques with associated test methods and measurement uncertainties.
The enterprise is part of a larger group dedicated to varous telecommunications technologies, including installations, mutual and system interference and site design.
This partner is highly competent in UWB test activities and already active.Indeed, Alan Deralove is the current Chairman of ETSI ERM Task Group 31A on UWB communications. He has taken part in the development of UWB test methods and test limitations with the Ofcom UK and ERA Technology Group.
Alan has been involved directly with ETSI since 1989 involved in Standards Development for Radio Communications Technologies, and as a Technical Expert on Test Methods and Measurement Uncertainties.
Alan as ETSI TETRA Project Manager, was resposible for up to 16 Technical Experts developing all ETSI ENs required for implementation and interoperability of multi-manufacturer operational equipment.
CTL will be take the lead for two workpacakes (WP 4 and 6) and it will participate in two others (WP3 for the task regarding the regulators and standard development organization and WP 5 for the allocation of requirements). Building upon their knowledge of this field, CTL is a key actor in this consortium.
